Qustion about "The Runaways"

I thought this movie was opening world wide on April 9th? I just called my theater and they are not getting it. I am so fucking livid about this. They got "Remember Me" so I don't understand why they are not getting "The Runways". I was under the impression this movie was going to be world wide. Was I wrong about this or was I right? UGH!
